JACQUELINE GENTILESCO is a freelance copywriter from the Pennsylvania woods who moved from the magazine world to advertising.

She previously joined Kettle as an ACD of Copy by way of Code and Theory, R/GA, and healthcare marketing startup Linkwell Health (where she interviewed neuroscientists, dietitians, Bikram yogis, acupuncturists, chefs, and apiologists for articles). She has worked in LA, SF, NY, and global markets.

Writing for household names and indie brands alike—she does apps, branding workshops, unboxing copy, script/video direction, OOH, and just about anything digital. Jackie is a grammar vigilante but rulebreaker at heart who considers the global impact of words. She writes inclusively and explores cultural identity deeply whether it’s a product launch seen by millions or a small activation.

Projects in her book include Apple, Citibank, Google, L’Oréal, Comcast-XFINITY Group, Magic Leap, Maybelline, essie, McCormick, Venetian Resorts, Rit Dyes, MasterClass, and more.

At Hofstra University, she dual majored in Journalism and Anthropology with a thesis on food culture and immigrant-owned family restaurants. Today, aside from work, she moonlights as a recipe maker, is a member of the American Anthropological Society, and will find any excuse to travel somewhere new.

Ask about her retirement goal to own a beachside smoothie shack. Only if your ears have time.
